Go Birding in the wetlands at Chanslor Ranch and on the upper part of the
375 acre ranch where birds such as the burrowing owl are seen. Follow

The Coastal Trails are magnificent with easy access from Chanslor Ranch. ayak up Salmon Creek from our picnic on the beach. INFORMATION ON COASTAL HIKING
At modest cost, Bicycles and surfing equipment may be rented in Bodega Bay. Whale watching is also available at Bodega Head in Bodega Bay and there are usually docents available in the parking lot. Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods conducts whale watch, seal watch and tide pool tours for the public. The University of California Bodega Bay Marine Lab is also open to the public on Fridays for tours. The Bodega Bay Visitor Center (707) 875-3866 has additional information on all of the above as well as many other ways to enjoy Bodega Bay and the Sonoma Coast at little or no cost.
